Abstract goodies. Pastels, color pencils, water color, photographs I've taken, and digitally remixed. Kind of like the way I have done some of my music. I love taking a traditionally rock cover tune and putting a Latin spin on it. Mixing Regaee and jazz. Classical and blues. My digital abstracts are made using my original hand drawn, painted artwork. I have changed the hue, texture, shape of my own work. Often taking segments of an original piece and copying it over many times in many directions and hues. Sometimes I will have a piece printed out, and then add more to it, using a different medium. At times I have scanned my work with actual objects on them - shells, feathers, text, my photographs. I view art and music in the same way. Each piece can inspire another totally different piece. It's such a delight, a surprise, like improvisational jazz, be-bop, scatting - ReMix - there is no telling what you will come up with. Peace. I hope you like.
