Wildflowers evoke memories of childhood, having grown up in a rural area of the garden state of NJ.I loved the way colorful and unassuming fields of dandelions, daisies and buttercups commanded my attention because of their abundance and simple beauty.They flourished, withered ten seemed to reappear. Dandelions were magical wands for wishingand daisies for deciding true love.My wildflower paintings were inspired by the freedom and innocence of childhood, first and true love and a fascination with the intricacy of naturally occuring patterns.When you see a dandelion,wish for love and beauty:)
