Julie-ann Bowden is an English artist who paints angels (amongst other things) in an iconic, naive style. The flat perspectives are deepened by the rich colours which suggest Russian and Byzantine icons. Julie-ann's Angel paintings come from a deep and genuine spirituality rarely seen in today's more cynical art movements. Other works are playful (such as her Valentine inages), but all are executed with great love and care.
