I am Johanna Geurts and I live in the Netherlands with my husband and dog Bliksem, a Briard, (French sheepdog). I attended Art Academy, I did mostly drawing and painting. After the Academy I worked a few years as a production designer, mostly short movies and kids' television movies. The collages: I like mixing things together, old and new drawings, images and photos I like, materials I feel comfortable with, such as soft pastels and colored pencils, paint, ink, charcoal, etc.
