Artist Statement Transporting the viewer to a peaceful scene is the focus of my paintings. Harmonizing color and simplifying shapes are other ways of reducing 'clutter' in imagery and creating serenity.
A signature member of the Northwest Watercolor Society, my work has been shown in galleries and exhibits locally and throughout the country.
In 2018 I moved from Seattle, Washington to the historic town of Jacksonville, Oregon where my studio is no longer two blocks from Puget Sound - but one block from the concert sound of the Britt Music Festival! It's a beautiful environment from which to draw inspiration.
